Publication Fees
IJoMS is free of charge for everyone. Authors pay nothing to submit, nothing to be reviewed, and nothing to be published. Readers pay nothing to read. The journal is funded by the Mathematics Study Program of Universitas Kebangsaan Republik Indonesia, which meets the cost of running and preserving it.
What IJoMS Charges
What This Means in Practice
- You will never be asked to transfer money at any stage of the process.
- No one from IJoMS will contact you about payment. Any message asking for a fee in the name of this journal is fraudulent and should be reported to the editorial office.
- Because there is no fee, no waiver or discount scheme is needed: every author is treated the same, whatever their institution or country.
- An author's ability to pay plays no part in editorial decisions, because money never enters the process.
Who Pays for the Journal
The running costs of IJoMS — hosting, the Open Journal Systems platform, copyediting and layout, digital object identifiers, and long-term preservation — are borne by the Mathematics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Kebangsaan Republik Indonesia. Editors and reviewers serve without payment. This model is often called diamond or platinum open access: free for authors and free for readers alike.
Advertising, Sponsorship, and Direct Marketing
IJoMS accepts no advertising and no sponsored content, and it does not send direct marketing of any kind. Editorial decisions are never influenced by commercial considerations.
