Copyright & License
Authors keep the copyright of their work. IJoMS asks only for the right of first publication, under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0).
Copyright
Authors who publish in IJoMS agree to the following terms.
- The copyright of each article is retained by the author or authors.
- Authors grant the journal the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence, which allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of its authorship and of its initial publication in this journal.
- Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the work — for example, depositing it in an institutional repository or publishing it in a book — with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
- Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online, for example in an institutional repository or on a personal website, before and during the submission process, as this can lead to productive exchanges as well as earlier and greater citation of the published work.
Licence Terms
Everything published in IJoMS is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).
You are free to
- Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
- Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
Under the following term
- Attribution — you must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the licence, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as you follow the licence terms. No additional restrictions may be applied: you may not add legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the licence permits.
Third-Party Material
Where an article reproduces figures, tables, or long quotations owned by someone else, it is the author's responsibility to obtain written permission and to name the source in the caption. Material that cannot be released under CC BY 4.0 must be identified as such in the manuscript.
