The increasing demand for oyster mushrooms requires improved efficiency in the production of growth media, especially in the sieving process of sawdust, which is still done manually by many farmers. This study aims to design and build a two level sawdust sieving machine capable of producing different particle sizes in a single process. The machine is powered by a 1 HP electric motor using a 3:9 inch pulley transmission system and two mesh levels (mesh 18 and mesh 20) to separate coarse, medium, and fine particles. The design process included problem identification, 3D modeling using SolidWorks, mechanical calculations (torque, power, and capacity), fabrication, and performance testing. Test results showed that the machine can sieve 3 kg of sawdust in 300 seconds, equivalent to a capacity of 36 kg/hour, with improved time efficiency and more uniform output. This machine is expected to enhance farmers’ productivity, reduce labor costs, and contribute to the development of appropriate technology in agriculture, particularly in oyster mushroom cultivation
