Focus and Scope

Jurnal Arsitektur Arcade is a peer-reviewed scientific journal, publishing scholarly writings about Architecture and its related discussion periodically. The aims of this journal is to disseminate research findings, ideas, and review in architectural studies SCIENTIFIC AREAS: Building (architecture) and Urban/Regional Study: theory, history, technology, landscape and site planning, behavioral, social and cultural, structure and construction, traditional architecture, criticism, digital architecture, urban design /planning, housing and settlements, and other related discussion Architecture Education and Practice: curriculum/studio development, work opportunities and challenges, globalization, locality, professionalism, code of ethics, project managerial, financing, etc. Review of Architectural Works Other Related Disciplines (will be reviewed by Editors) which may become interdisciplinary discussion and stimulate architecture insight, such as environment planning, economic development, development policy, tourism, etc. TYPES OF CONTRIBUTION: Original research findings, preliminary research communication, conception or ideas, models and simulation, extended conference papers, professional reviews, case studies and comparative study, reviews of design works, and survey INVITED AUTHORS: Faculty members, researchers, practitioners, graduate students, and public who have the competence LANGUAGE: Indonesian or English.

Peer Review Process

Submitted manuscripts will be screened with ithenticate to detect and prevent plagiarism. The accepted similarity index is range between 10-20%, with notes that Author(s) has used the appropriate citation After a manuscript is screened, Editor will review the submitted manuscript in accordance with the journal scope and focus If a manuscript is approved, Editor then forward the manuscript to Reviewers to review the substance of the manuscript in accordance with scientific principles (suitability, update, clarity, correlation, concise) and the journal focus. In addition, Editors and Reviewers can give a suggestion in order to improve the manuscript Editors or Reviewers are eligible to change and improve the spelling, writing, and grammar without reducing the principal substance from the manuscript.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Journal History

Jurnal Arsitektur Arcade is Open Journal System published by Prodi Architecture Kebangsaan University, Bandung in 2023 has migrated to the link: https://e-jurnal.ukri.ac.id/index.php/arcade. This journal is a means of research publications that concentrate on the study of architecture to accommodate authors interested in the field of heritage architecture, built environment, urban design, housing and settlement, Building Technology, Interior Design. Jurnal Arsitektur Arcade was published for the first time in 2017 for its e-ISSN 2597-3746 (Online) and p-ISSN 2580-8613 (Print) publications which are published 3 times a year in March, July and November.

The Editorial Board of Jurnal Arsitektur ARCADE starting in 2023 publishes an e-ISSN 2597-3746 (Online) edition which will be published every 3 months, namely in March, June, September and December each year.
