Abstract: The Growth of tourism in Bandung has significantly intensified competition within the hospitality sector, particularly in the design of hotel interiors. The lobby, as the first point of contact between guest and hotel environment, plays a crucial role in shaping initial impression and representing brand identity. This study aimed to analyse the role of multisensory experience in the interior design of Hotel “X” lobby and to examine its relationship with guests’ intention to revisit. A qualitative approach was adopted through literature-based review, drawing upon scholarly sources on multisensory design, hospitality experience, and revisit behaviour. The data were analysed thematically to identify the interconnections between sensory stimuli (visual, autditory, olfactory, and tactile), spatial experience, emotion engagement, and revisit intention. The findings indicare that the integration of multisensory elements in lobby design strengthens emotional involvement and creates a more immersive and memorable spatial experience. The study demonstrates that a multisensory approach plays a strategic role in fostering memorable experiences without reyling on major physical redesign, but rather through the integrated optimization of sensory stimulation. These results highlight the importance of sensory-driven interior strategies in enhancing guest attachment and behavioural intention within boutique hotel environments.
