Public spaces are one of the most important urban elements in improving the quality of life for the community. However, not all public spaces are designed with the comfort of their users in mind. One example is the Raden Saleh Cultural Park, which is often used by the community. The quality of public spaces can be improved by strengthening the relationship between the public space itself and the community. In this case, a public space is designed with elements that can improve comfort in mind. With the Placemaking approach, public spaces can be designed with an emphasis on the four elements within them. Several previous studies have shown that applying the Placemaking concept can increase comfort for users. This study discusses the evaluation of the placemaking elements found in the object. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive analysis of the elements in the concept as a comparative study in identifying objects. This study aims to identify the placemaking elements found in the object of study, namely the Raden Saleh Cultural Park. Public spaces were chosen as the subject of this study because they are the site of many community activities. The results of this study show that there is a close relationship between the components of the object of study and its users. These elements will be very important in creating public spaces that are comfortable for the community in the future.
