The KBT was originally designed to channel water from upstream rivers through collector channels starting from the southern part of the city (Manggarai area), following the western edge of the city toward the sea, with its estuary located at Muara Angke. Subsequently, the East Flood Canal (BKT) was constructed as part of the central government's efforts at that time to control flooding across Jakarta. This situation contrasts with the current state of the KBT, where other community activities contribute positively to the city's landscape. Sports activities, motorized and non-motorized vehicle circulation, annual parades, and street vendors (PKL) are daily activities that are highly engaging. The presence of street vendors (PKL) in the KBT segment at Pondok Bambu is particularly further study using the 1-3-1 pattern. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data were collected through field observations and interviews with key figures and the community around the research location. This was followed by descriptive qualitative data analysis. The aim of this research is to provide recommendations for the organization of street vendors (PKL) to make the area more organized and attractive
