Marble industry produces solid waste in the form of cuts and fragments that are often not handled optimally, causing environmental problems and factory layout issues. The main problems found in marble factories are production layouts that have not been integrated with a waste management system, indicated by a large distance between production machines and waste holding facilities, overlapping material circulation flows, and a non-linear water circulation and water treatment system. The research method used is descriptive-analytical with an exploratory study approach through direct observation of production flow, literature study, and facility layout analysis. The results showed that the spatial integration between the production zone, the waste holding zone, and the water treatment system was able to reduce scattered waste by up to ±20%, reduce water consumption by up to ±15%, and increase the efficiency of production workflow. These findings confirm that layout optimization plays an important role in supporting the principles of sustainable industrial architecture in marble factories.
