KARAKTERISTIK FASADE PADA BANGUNAN RESTORAN TERAS BY PLATARAN DI SUMMARECON BOGOR – JAWA BARAT

Abstract

This study analyzes the façade characteristics of the Teras by Plataran restaurant in Summarecon Bogor. The research focuses on exploring the application of architectural principles in the restaurant's facade design, paying particular attention to sustainability aspects and responsiveness to the surrounding environment. A qualitative approach is employed to examine design elements such as form, materials, and color, and how these elements create a harmonious relationship between the building and nature. The findings aim to provide insights into how facade design supports functionality, spatial aesthetics, and sustainability, while reinforcing architectural identity in the context of a design responsive to the tropical environment.
